Obama, the Political Tactician-in-Chief

It is increasingly clear now that political analysts are yet to be schooled in President Obama’s political school of thought. The man, Obama, has repeatedly beaten pundits and analysts arms down with his surprises.

Obama appears to be more than one step ahead of them in the game and it seems he has read the political terrain very well and seems to be re-writing the manual of political analysis in America.

When the Republican Senators came on air to declare war against Susan Rice even before she was nominated, their calculation was that it will force Obama to appoint John Kerry and that will open the opportunity for them to fill Kerry’s seat with Scot Brown after Brown’s defeat in the 2012 election. Obama appointed Kerry after Rice indicated that she would not to be nominated for the Secretary of State position.

The hawks were happy, they jubilated and analysts and the main stream media got it all wrong. They condemned Obama and accused him of betraying Susan Rice and not fighting for her against the Republicans. In fact they criticized the president for not having enough women in his cabinet but Obama ignored them.

Though he never served in the military, in fact he is a constitutional lawyer but he has proved to be a political tactician-in-chief. No one expected him to win the 2008 nomination initially, but he brought down the Clinton dynasty and became the first Black president. He vowed to win and redraw the political map of America and he did. He won Virginia, after 40 years, for the Democratic Party. In 2012, Obama mesmerized everybody when he won his re-election with employment rate standing at 7.8%- unprecedented in the history of America. Even Gallup the famous opinion polling organization had shown Romney leading up to the Election Day. Analysts, pollsters, most main stream media had predicted that Romney would win by electoral votes while Obama would win popular votes. Romney was so full of himself and sure of the opinion polls that he did not bother to write concession speech.

The Romnesia disease is still spreading amongst the Republican Party and the US main media that they are still dazzled and unclear as to how Barack Hussein Obama beat them to everything.

Now he has nominated Susan Rice for the position of National Security Adviser and pretty sure Obama is laughing at these guys as they are whining now.

My advice to Obama’s  enemies is that if you cannot beat him, join him.
